最近超喜歡一部影集 -- BBC 新拍的「Sherlock」。
我本來以為這部影集會是最近流行的穿越劇 -- 福爾摩斯來到現代的倫敦，然後傻傻的開始學習用現代科技來破案，說不定還帶著一點點 CSI 的風格。
但是看了以後發現完全不是如此，這是一部改寫了柯南道爾原作的影集，把以前的 tricks 放在現代，當然 Sherlock Holmes 本人也是一個不擅於社交但擅於使用科技的阿宅，再配上他的好伴侶 Dr. Waston。
整個影集的節奏非常快速，然而我最讚許的是裡面非常精采的英文對白。這大概是只有英國的影集才能寫出這麼文雅到假掰又不人性化的台詞吧，但是精采到每一句我都想畫圈圈。（反觀另一個英國人 Gordon Ramsey... 咳咳。）
Anyway，其中我最喜歡的一集是第 2 季的第 1 集 -- A Scandal in Belgravia：裡面有一個超搶眼又超宿命的角色 -- Irene Adler, "The Woman.”
相較於原著（A Scandal in Bohemia）中的 Irene Adler 是一個披著歌劇名伶外衣的交際花，拿到了布拉格國王的豔照；在新拍的影集中，她是一個拿著皮鞭的 SM 女王，和英國皇帝的年輕女性成員有過那麼一段豔史。因此才有人找上 Sherlock，希望可以拿回這些照片。也才有 Sherlock 和 The Woman 的一段交手。
總之，劇情我不多提了。就直接說我最喜歡裡面的幾句對白吧。
當 Sherlock 猜對 Irene 藏有豔照手機密碼之前 (嘿！這個設定夠現代了吧？) ，他們的對話是
Sherlock
The game was too elaborate, you were enjoying yourself too much.
Oh, enjoying the thrill of the chase is fine.
Craving the distraction of the game, I sympathise, but sentiment?
Sentiment is a chemical effect found in the losing side.
Irene
Sentiment? what are you talking about?
Sherlock
You.
Irene
Why? Because you are the great Sherlock Holmes, the clever detective in the funny hat?
Sherlock
No. Because I took your pulse.
(Your pulse) elevated, and your pupils dilated.
I imagine John Waston thinks love's a mystery to me, but the chemistry is incredibly simple and very destructive.
We first met you told me that disguise is always a self-portrait -- how true of you -- the combination to your safe, your three measurements, but this, this is far more intimate. This is your heart and you should never let it rule your head.
You could have chosen any number and walked out with everything. But you just couldn't resist it, could you?
I've always assumed love is a dangerous disadvantage. Thank you for the final proof.

然而，這麼一個「With the most beautiful face of a girl, however, with the most resolute mind of a man」的 Irene Adler 是選了哪 4 個字母做為密碼…
當然是 --
只能說。宅男魅力無人能擋。（誤）
